Qsource partnered with Tara Morse, Executive Director, Indiana 211, Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, as she spoke about her experiences and tremendous work during our Connecting Hoosiers Through Indiana 211 Webinar.
In this meeting, viewers will:
- Recognize how Indiana 211 fits within the ecosystem of social services across all aspects of case management, whether it be in the medical field, social services or case work.
- Identify how the social determinants of health questions impact identification of need and subsequent access to community resources.
- Explain to others how to leverage Indiana 211 services.
Meet Tara Morse
Tara Morse is the Executive Director of Indiana 211 for the State of Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. Under Tara’s leadership, the Indiana 211 Program has expanded to not only connecting Hoosier to local resources, but also specific lines of business to address rent, utility and child care assistance.
In 2022, Indiana 211 handled over 550,000 calls. Prior to transitioning Indiana 211 to FSSA, Tara assisted the Indiana Department of Health with the COVID-19 response. Tara led the development of a statewide COVID-19 Contract Tracing Program, inclusive of a new system and call center, followed by expansion of 211 services to create a COVID-19 Vaccine Information and Scheduling Line, with over 1,100 agents, answering 1.3 million calls during 2021.
Tara is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who previously served the state as a consultant in large IT system implementations such as the Medicaid system replacement, systematic implementation of health coverage programs, and Medicaid pharmacy benefit management carve out programs.
Tara has spent her career in various capacities within the Family and Social Services Administration, in all aspects of human service program delivery. Tara holds a master’s degree in Counseling from Butler University.
