Qsource Board of Directors voted for Dr. Erica Gettis, D.O. to be the new Board Chair on October 19, 2024.  A member of the Board of Directors since late 2021, Dr. Gettis has served on the Executive Committee as Secretary and the Compliance and Governance Committee.

“I am deeply honored to serve Qsource as a member of the Board of Directors. Throughout my career, quality care has been the cornerstone of every decision I’ve made for each patient. It is forward-thinking, mission-driven organizations like Qsource that put patients at the center, creating strong foundations that truly prioritize the quality of care,” said Gettis. “Qsource fosters growth, innovation, and a network of support that continually improves healthcare practices. I often tell my patients, ‘We can always get better,’ and that’s exactly what I plan to cultivate as a direct liaison. We are setting a new standard by leaving our mark—the ‘Q’ in Quality—for the healthcare industry.”

Dr. Gettis brings a team-oriented approach and a wealth of medical knowledge and experience to the Board of Directors. In 2017, she started serving patients at Kentucky One Health as a primary care physician and in 2019, she joined University of Louisville Physicians, specializing in internal medicine and primary care. Her passion for quality medical care shows with her signature extended patient visits.  When needed, she serves as a Hospitalist and on-call media physician for the University of Louisville and fills in for the Urgent Care Plus Medical Center Northeast (MCNE).

“Dr. Gettis is an exemplary leader and physician. We are thrilled to have her guiding our Board of Directors as we continue to improve healthcare quality,” said Mary-Lyn Baldauf, Qsource CEO.

Dr. Gettis, a Gratis faculty member in the Internal Medicine department at the University of Louisville College of Medicine, teaches pre-med collegiate students, medical students, residents, and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) candidates. She is currently in the Master of Science Health Administration (MSHA) Program at the University.
