HITRUST e1 Certification validates Qsource is committed to foundational cybersecurity controls and information risk management.

Qsource, a leader in healthcare quality improvement and consulting services, is proud to announce that it has achieved HITRUST e1 Certified status. This certification confirms that Qsource meets essential security and compliance requirements, further solidifying its commitment to safeguarding sensitive data in today’s evolving healthcare landscape. Along with the organization’s recent SOC 2 Type II attestation, this is another milestone on a journey to deliver high-quality and secure services.

The HITRUST e1 certification provides organizations like Qsource with a streamlined, efficient pathway to demonstrate their adherence to recognized security controls. By achieving this certification, Qsource reinforces its proactive approach to data protection and compliance, ensuring that key security measures are in place.

“In today’s environment, it’s imperative that organizations like ours keep pace with current and emerging threats,” said Mary-Lyn Baldauf, Chief Executive Officer at Qsource. “We are pleased to demonstrate to clients our commitment to cybersecurity and data protection through HITRUST e1 Certification.”

HITRUST e1 certification focuses on core, fundamental security controls, providing a solid baseline that aligns with regulatory standards such as HIPAA. The certification ensures that Qsource is prepared to protect sensitive data from common threats, giving our clients the confidence that their information is safe.

  • Assurance of Essential Data Protection

Clients can trust that Qsource has implemented essential security controls to protect sensitive data, such as Protected Health Information (PHI). The e1 certification ensures that foundational security measures are in place, providing peace of mind that data is safeguarded against common cyber threats.

  • Streamlined Compliance

With HITRUST e1 certification, Qsource aligns with critical regulatory requirements like HIPAA, simplifying compliance for clients. Stakeholders can rest assured that their compliance needs are met without having to worry about data security gaps.

  • Reduced Risk

The certification minimizes the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access by ensuring that the most important security controls are in place. This reduces potential damage that could result from security incidents.

  • Cost-Effective Security Assurance

For clients, working with a HITRUST-certified partner reduces the need for additional vendor security audits. The e1 certification shows that Qsource has already been thoroughly assessed by a third-party auditor, cutting down on compliance costs and saving time for clients.

  • Adaptability to Evolving Security Needs

As clients’ needs grow or change, Qsource’s HITRUST e1 certification provides a foundation for further security enhancements. This adaptability ensures that Qsource can scale its security efforts to continue meeting client expectations as threats evolve.

  • Confidence in Data Integrity

With HITRUST e1, clients can be confident that Qsource upholds data integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Secure data handling is crucial to patient safety.

Achieving HITRUST e1 certification provides Qsource with a solid foundation of security, enhanced trust with clients, and a simplified compliance process, all while maintaining the flexibility to adapt and scale its security needs in the future.
