Asthma Awareness Month
In recognition of National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month, we would like to highlight one of our newest resources, a respiratory illness comparison chart titled “Is It Asthma, Allergies, a Cold, COVID-19, the Flu, or RSV?” originally adapted from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, World Health Organization, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This resource is available in English and Spanish.
High blood pressure or hypertension is a major risk factor for heart disease and over half of Americans are not aware they have it. VisitThe Heart Truth® | NHLBI, NIH to find resources to raise awareness on heart disease and a heart-healthy lifestyle. One particular resource that can be found here is “Heart Smart Basics, What to Know to Keep Yours Healthy”. This resource defines common heart-related terms and examples of questions to ask your healthcare provider.
