Your ESRD Network wants to recognize at least one facility staff member each month who is going above and beyond for their patients. This month we want to celebrate not one but TWO Facility Shoutouts this month! Tammy Hunter and Jessica Powers!
Tammy is the Registered Nurse for Ozarks Dialysis South in Missouri, her facility was placed in a focus group to recruit a Peer in Action, which she was successful in doing so and participated in each meeting that the focus group held. Tammy also helped spread the word about the Patient Spotlight portion of the Peer Connection calls and found a patient who will be volunteering during December’s Peer Connection Call-thank you so much for your collaboration, Tammy!
Jessica is the Facility Administrator for Poplar Bluff and Poplar Bluff West in Missouri, her facilities were also placed in a focus group to recruit a Peer in Action. Jessica was successful in doing so by recruiting two Peers and took the time to participate in each meeting that was held during the span of the focus group-thank you so much for your dedication, Jessica!
Do you have a facility staff member you’d like to nominate for the facility shoutout? Email us the details of who, what, and where at: Qsource-Peers@qsource.org
