It’s crucial to focus on your body, mind, and spirit. Being in control of how you spend your time outside of treatment goes hand in hand with this. Download the following resource to find tips on being successful when you are ready to go back to work or start volunteering!
With the stress of added medical costs and unexpected expenses, it is easy to fall off track with your finances when dealing with kidney disease. Take a moment to identify at least one financial goal that you’d like to achieve and use the following resources to help support your goal.
Facility Shoutout!
Your ESRD Network wants to recognize at least one facility staff member each month who is going above and beyond for their patients. This month we want to celebrate DaVita Dream Catchers Region 1!
This region is made up of 10 dialysis facilities in the Kansas City, Missouri area and have not only exceeded the CMS and Network goal of 80% for Influenza for their patients but have also improved their up-to-date pneumococcal pneumonia rate by 20% in the past six months! Congratulations on your excellent progress!
Do you have a facility staff member you’d like to nominate for the facility shoutout? Email us the details of who, what, and where at Qsource-Peers@qsource.org.
We Need Your Feedback!
Below is a link to our ESRD Network Patient Feedback survey. This survey is to help the Network receive honest feedback on how we are supporting patients in the kidney community, our communication process, and a few questions about our website. Please take a moment to pass this survey along to your patients. Results need to be collected by end of March!
All calls take place at 1 p.m. CT on Thursdays and Fridays to accommodate treatment schedules! Feel free to join one or both. Staff is encouraged to join as well!
Join the Next Peer Call: Traveling Safely: Making Treatment Work for You Away from Home
Who doesn’t love to sneak away even for a quick trip? Traveling as a dialysis patient looks different than the average person, however, it is absolutely possible! Join our next Peer Connection call to get some great tips on how to pack for a trip, go on a cruise or flight, and never miss a moment that life has to offer!
We still need one or more volunteers for the Patient Spotlight! Do you have a personal story that relates to the topic of learning your new baseline and advocating for yourself? Email Qsource-Peers@Qsource.org to share your story!
To reach the Patient Services Team for communication about Peer Connection activities, including questions, suggestions, or ideas, you can email the team at
